  • Step 3: Take a medium-size bowl and put 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 tbsp. Sugar, 1tbsp. Salt, 2 tbsp. baking powder, 1/8 tsp. of baking soda. Mix all these dry ingredients very well.
  • Step 4: Take 1 egg and separate egg yolk. Keep it in a small bowl and add 2 cups of water in it. Stir it well.
  • Step 5: Now, combine the dry mixture with the liquid mixture and make the batter. Add 2 tbsp. of melted butter and 1 tbsp. of canola oil/vegetable oil/ coconut oil to the batter.
  • Step 6: Take a separate bowl and beat the egg white. Then add it to the batter.
  • Step 7: Now it’s time to cook the waffles. Open your waffle maker and add the batter as its capacity. Close the lid, turn it upside down, and let it cook for 10-15 minutes.

It would be great if you have an indicator on your waffle iron. As it wouldn’t make you to think constantly about if the cooking process is done or not. The indicator will beep or lighten up as its done cooking well.

With this measurement above you will get 2-3 big waffles. Just double/triple it if you want to make more waffles.
